WATCH: My Top 5 Crypto Investments

Good morning, Power Profit Traders!

I made a surprise cameo during yesterday’s LIVE trading session with Jay Harris… will you spot Waldo during today’s LIVE hour with Jeff Beamer? You have to be in the room from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET to find out!

So… yesterday we talked about how I place cryptocurrency trades, like I do with my Microcurrency Trader strategy.

But considering what I just witnessed on the Bitcoin (BTC) charts, I took it one step further by recording a special video for you: My Top 5 Cryptocurrency Investmentsand their 18-month targets.

In today’s Power Profit Trades newsletter, I’ll outline some of the key points from my video message, including:

  • The “X factor” impacting my 6-digit BTC price target (1:33-minute marker)
  • Where the smart people are going – and you should too (3:35)
  • The token that could quadruple in the next 18 months (4:00)
  • The coin that could go to $100 (5:17)
  • And more!

Plus, we’ll dive into today’s Power Profit Trades Watchlist, and what surprised me the most about that Unusual Call Options Volume.

Dogs of the Dow on the Watchlist

Today’s Watchlist is based on the Morning Report’s Unusual Call Options Volume tool — free to all Power Profit Traders!

For the Unusually High Call Option Volume list, I’m searching for the options — not the stocks — that saw excessively high volume in a day.

Volume is different from Open Interest (OI).

Volume speaks to the number of options traded on the day, whether the options were sold or bought to open.

OI is the number of contracts that remain open at that strike, whether bought or sold to open a week or a year ago — if they haven’t been closed or exercised, they count.

OI helps gauge liquidity, to a degree, and is nice to know… but on a day like yesterday, when the markets had a nice reversal to the upside for a bullish day, I want to see where the call options ACTION is.

And today’s Unusual Call Options Volume tool is the list to show it.

There were lots of blue-chip stocks on the list, including Procter & Gamble (PG) and Apple (AAPL), but what surprised me the most was Verizon Communications (VZ) at the No. 1 spot.

I find it interesting that one of the so-called “Dogs of the Dow” for 2021 led the pack, with unusually high volume around the VZ $52.50-strike call expiring Oct. 15.

Further, the top five options on today’s list expire in October, showing a very near-term skew.

With earnings season just around the corner, it’s possible a lot of this action is simply bullish betting before the reports.

My Top Crypto Investments

As alluded to earlier, I recorded a video for you on My Top Crypto Investments.

You can watch the short video above for the full list, but let’s talk a moment about my No. 1 pick: Bitcoin (BTC) itself.

Bitcoin has been around longer than the other four picks, and I’ve been dabbling in it for nearly a decade now, as my Microcurrency Traders know.

This one is really at an interesting inflection point, because of where it is in its life cycle.

I talk about this around the 1:33-minute marker in the video, but in a nutshell, when a cryptocurrency enters the Institutional Phase — where BTC is now — that lends itself to an X factor of sorts…

And that’s why I see BTC going well past its summer highs, as far as my 18-month target of $190,000.

Watch the entire video message for more, including:

  • Where the smart people are going – and you should too (3:35)
  • The token that could quadruple in the next 18 months (4:00)
  • The innovative coin that’s “scalable” (4:45)
  • The coin that could go to $100 (5:17)
  • A hedge for traders who play Coinbase (COIN) stock (6:15)
  • Where to place coin orders if you’re looking for low transaction fees (7:26)

And then, hop in the room because Team Tom will be trading and teaching LIVE from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET today!

Talk to you soon,
